Wraith is an interactive narrative that takes the form of a dating app named Mosaic, which pairs players with fictional characters whom they can converse with in simulated chat windows. 

Combining real-time communication with the reality blurring of ARGs, what follows is a subversive journey into a future where nothing is what it seems, and no one is who they claim to be.

From the ashes of the old world, Empyrean Industries rises to power with the singular goal of restoring humanity to greatness. Led by the illustrious Caleb Rose, their vision statements become the new commandments, their products the new chalices, and their stores the new churches. To save the world, they ask for one thing: your unrelenting, undivided, and unquestionable support. 

Tell us everything about you, they say. Invite us into your most private moments, and adorn yourselves with our creations. Spoil yourselves with our gifts. The latest: Mosaic, a dating platform that promises to make users whole. But fate has other plans, and on the eve of a technological revolution, your missing piece cries for help.

A B O U T   U S

In 2016, we founded a multimedia content studio and production company called Innerspeak. Based in Toronto, Ontario, we are a team of artists and storytellers who love creating original experiences across genres and mediums. Growing up, we would spend hours playing video games together, watching films, and bringing our wild ideas to life. But we always wanted to dig deeper into our imagination and experiment with new ways of telling stories. And that’s exactly what Wraith is: our experiment. 

How close do you feel to your match? How far will you go to save them? What choices will you make? We don’t know the answers to these questions, but we hope you’ll help us discover them. This is our first attempt at a game, so bear with us. We see this as just a pre-alpha, and we hope to release more versions and patches based on your notes. We hope you enjoy Wraith as much as we do.
